  Spectacular property, walking distance to town, beautifully appointed. The pillow selection alone was happily surprising! Planning our next visit already.

  I wasn't going to post anything about this place because my husband and I were very disappointed with the management of this place, however I feel it's only fair that future guests are informed of our time spent here!
  My strong advice is to NOT stay here anytime when the weather is warm as it's stifling hot because the air-conditioning does not work! We stayed here over the the Easter break which is essentially autumn but Bright can still be warm this time of the year. We had 27 degrees everyday which was lovely but from 11am till 5.30 -6pm the upstairs and main bedroom could not be used because it's to uncomfortable with how warm it is. The place is prity much all glass which is actually lovely but the cooling units are very old and cannot cool the areas down efficiently. I rang the property manager which was simply a waste of time, I was told I was being aggressive and that's generally the case when you start questioning someone's integrity! She said that there is nothing wrong with the temperature because she was at the place in the morning and felt comfortable, but clearly her ignorance got the better of her and she failed to realise that everyone's comfortable is different and that the afternoon heat is very different from the morning!! I offered for her to come and assess the situation but she declined and instead dropped off 2 fans and insisted that they would do the trick!! I can assure you they were a total waste of time and did nothing but make there energy provider richer!!!! If it was slightly comfortable I would have led it slide however when your paying in excess of 300 per night and you can't use the premises for more than half the day because lack of functionality that's a major problem and very unfair to guest's. Please don't disappoint yourself and stay here in the summer because I can guarantee you that during these warmer months you wouldn't be able to utilise the place from probably 10am - 9pm at night and that's not an exaggeration. If your staying here with children and have booked it for the convenience of being able to use the kitchen for meals and maybe nap time's you won't be able to due the excessive heat this place holds. We couldn't even sit up stairs and enjoy a mid afternoon wine and cheese!! I suppose also you have to question the heating, wouldn't surprise me that guests have frozen here in winter! We booked this place 7 months in advance and travelled 5 hours from Melbourne to get there. We have been going to Bright for over 20 year's and have never experienced such disappointment with our accommodation. The property manager said that she tried to find us another place to stay but being the Easter weekend and school holidays everything was booked out. She offered us a refund if we left.....certainly not out of good will that's for sure!! I also find it odd that there is only one other review, I would say that the reviews that they have taken down wouldn't be any different to mine! Please don't waste your money on this place because clearly the owners only care about the cash they make rather than providing comfort for there guest's!
